Choose cannon count by the site and composition

A two-cannon reveal and a four-cannon reveal provide different equipment layouts. The right choice depends on the approved area, where the subject stands, guest positions and the camera view. We’ll review both layouts around your space and the look you want. Cloud size and duration vary with the selected materials and conditions.

Share an overview of the site and the moment you want to emphasize. If you have a photographer or production team, include their preferred view and cue timing. Your quote lists the cannon count and shots. If you want a second moment, tell us so we can price it with the setup.

Colored powder for reveals, launches and celebrations

For a gender reveal, the main focus is the coordinated announcement and countdown. For a product launch or team celebration, discuss the requested color and how the effect fits the presentation or music cue. Send a reference image to help us understand the look you love. We’ll confirm available colors and plan around your location.

Powder can also be discussed alongside confetti cannons or cold spark fountains in the listed combined packages. Each added material or effect has its own venue and operating requirements. If your priority is an arrival rather than an announcement, compare grand entrance effects.

Powder, tissue confetti and CO₂ are different effects

Powder makes a colored atmospheric cloud. Tissue confetti produces visible pieces that spread and fall. CO₂ cannons and floor jets create a different burst using different equipment. Choose by the desired visual result and what the venue permits, rather than treating the names as interchangeable.

For a finer layer that reveals lighting beams, consider haze. For a fluid-based cloud effect, compare fog machine rental. These create a different look from a colored powder reveal.

Review surfaces, airflow and cleanup

Send the venue or city, whether the site is indoors or outdoors, photos of the proposed area and nearby surfaces. Ask the property owner or venue about powder restrictions before confirming an event. Guest placement, equipment layout and operating conditions must be reviewed for the actual site.

Wind and airflow affect the direction and spread of the cloud. We’ll review the outdoor or indoor setting with you and agree any site requirements before booking. Powder cleanup is quoted separately, with responsibilities agreed with your venue.
